The longtime Apple designer, responsible for the Apple Watch and Liquid Glass, is heading to Meta. Industry voices are pleased.
In a statement shared with Bloomberg on Wednesday, Apple confirmed that its software design chief Alan Dye will be leaving. Apple said Dye will be succeeded by Stephen Lemay, who has been a software designer at the company since 1999.
Apple’s controversial design chief, Alan Dye, is leaving the company in a major shake-up. Mr Dye has been in charge of Apple’s user interfaces more than a decade, but will now move to Meta.
