Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan has won the coin toss and opted to bat first against India in their Group A game at the 2025 Champions Trophy.

India defeated Pakistan by six wickets in the most anticipated match of the Champions Trophy 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on February 23 (Sunday). The defeat came as Pakistan’s second loss on the trot in the Champions Trophy and the hosts and the defending champions are now all but eliminated from the semifinals race.

According to a TOI report on Monday, India still needs one more victory to confirm their spot in the knockout stage without relying on other results.
