Tesla stock is up 37% in volatile post-election trading as Wall Street digests a complicated web of Trump policies which may impact the Musk-led electric vehicle company.

The EV maker, led by key Trump advisor Elon Musk, recently showed off an autonomous vehicle called the Cybercab. Shares in Tesla, Inc. (Nasdaq: TSLA) are rising in premarket trading this morning after reports that President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team wants to make a federal framework for fully self-driving cars a top priority for the Department of Transportation (DOT).
