A 66-year-old Fort Worth woman died from a stray bullet that struck her inside her home Friday night, and police are asking for help to find the shooter.

The death of a woman from traumatic injuries Monday morning near downtown was being investigated as a homicide, authorities said.

The man was alert, conscious and breathing when he was taken to the hospital, police said.
