The 68th annual Grammys drew an average of 14.4 million viewers on Sunday night, which marked the ceremony’s last time airing on CBS before its upcoming move to ABC. Measured by Nielsen, that total represents a 6% decrease from the 15.

Going into the 2026 Grammys, Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga and Bad Bunny led the list of nominees. Lamar led with the most nominations at nine, followed by Gaga, Cirkut and Jack Antonoff with seven nominations apiece. Also nominated are Sabrina Carpenter, Bad Bunny, Leon Thomas and Serban Ghenea.

It marks the second year of decline after the 2024 show’s years-long high note of 16.9M viewers. To be fair, it’s still the most-watched awards ceremony since last year’s Oscars.
