Jonathan Bailey was not in attendance at the 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards despite his three nominations, two of which were for 'Wicked' while the other was for 'Bridgerton'

Bridgerton star Jonathan Bailey plays dreamboat love interest Prince Fiyero in Wicked, but scheduling conflicts almost kept him out of the cast.

The 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards was full of Hollywood A-listers, but some were noticeably absent. When Joey King and Jack Quaid called out Martin Short ’s name when announcing the winner of Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series, the duo began looking for the Only Murders in the Building star in the crowd.

Jonathan Bailey is nominated in three categories at tonight's SAG Aawards—Best Supporting Actor for his performance as Fiyero in Wicked, Best Ensemble Cast (for Wicked ), and Best Ensemble in a Drama Series (for Bridgerton )—but the British actor won’t be in attendance this evening.

Jonathan Bailey has just begun his run onstage starring in Richard II at London’s Bridge Theatre. Given his performance schedule, the Wicked actor was unable to attend this evening’s SAG Awards in Los Angeles.
