Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said this week that kicker Brandon McManus will have to compete with Lucas Havrisik to keep his job, but today LaFleur reaffirmed that McManus is his kicker and said his previous comments were overblown.
GREEN BAY – The Packers have listed receivers Matthew Golden (shoulder), Dontayvion Wicks (calf) and Savion Williams (foot), and tackle Zach Tom (back) questionable for Monday night's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Defensive lineman Lukas Van Ness (foot) and cornerback Nate Hobbs (knee) have been ruled out.
Packers' head coach Matt LaFleur addressed the recent controversial comments he made regarding kicker Brandon McManus.
-- On Dontayvion Wicks and Lukas Van Ness: "Wicks will be limited today, Van Ness will not be practicing." Wicks could return after missing two games with a calf injury, while Van Ness is now in danger of missing his fourth straight game with a foot injury.
The Packers will face the Eagles on Monday night, seeing them for the first time since Green Bay led the charge to try to ban the tush push this offseason.
With Tucker Kraft out for the season, tight end Luke Musgrave and others will be called on to play bigger roles in the Packers' offense.

History will judge Matt LaFleur, even if he’s never fired
The reality is, LaFleur’s probably going to be the guy who guides the Packers through this window of contention, like it or not. But that doesn’t mean history won’t judge him. And of the key figures in the Packers’ organization right now, I think LaFleur is the most squarely in the crosshairs to be judged harshly.
