These storms could quickly become strong to severe, fueled by a combination of instability and strong upper-level winds.

For boaters on Saturday look out for scattered storms, otherwise we will see partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies with a 50% chance for rain. Winds will be out of the west at 5-10 knots and seas runnin 1 foot or less. Look for a light chop on the waters away from the storms.

A tropical system and the heavy rains accompanying it could lead to flash flooding across Florida and other parts of the coastal Southeast this weekend.
