WPBF 25 First Warning meteorologists are tracking Tropical Storm Chantal. As of the 5 p.m. advisory, it was located about 95 miles southeast of Charleston, South Carolina and about 165 miles south-southwest of Wilmington,

Tropical Depression 3 strengthened to Tropical Storm Chantal Saturday morning. Chantal will move northward and come ashore in South Carolina early Sunday morning.

Tropical Storm Chantal formed on Saturday as it slowly moved in the Atlantic toward the Carolinas, according to the National Weather Service.
