The No. 2 UConn basketball team returned to action this past Tuesday night for a Peoples Bank Arena showdown against the Xavier Musketeers. This matchup comes off the heels of the program’s most dominant win all season long in Omaha against the Creighton Bluejays.

Xavier men's basketball defeated the Butler Bulldogs 89-75, securing back-to-back wins for the first time since non-conference play. The Musketeers' offense had five double-digit scorers, with Tre Carroll leading the team with a game-high 29 points.
Xavier men's basketball lost to DePaul 86-77, dropping them near the bottom of the Big East standings. Xavier starting center Jovan Milicevic was limited to just 10 minutes of play due to foul trouble.
