China’s Xi Jinping is in America at the invitation of President Donald Trump, who staged a lavish state dinner at taxpayers’ expense on Thursday evening.

Fox News host Jesse Watters attended the state dinner on September 24, hosted by President Trump during Xi Jinping’s visit. A day later, the president shared a Truth Social post saying he had a productive meeting with Xi Jinping and believed important developments would follow for both the United States and China, CBS News reported.
