Janiah Barker scored 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and No. 15 Tennessee dominated the first half to roll to an 85-41 win over Middle Tennessee.

Lady Vols basketball survived a close game against Belmont, coming back from a five-point deficit in the fourth quarter to win third straight game.

Lady Vols basketball blew out ETSU in a much stronger showing with its full-court press in its home opener. No. 9 Tennessee (1-1) forced 26 turnovers for 32 points in a 97-47 win over ETSU (0-2) at Food City Center on Nov. 7. Zee Spearman led the team with 24 points, six rebounds, two assists, a block and a steal.

Talayasia Cooper recorded a double-double for Tennessee and was one of three Lady Vols to score 10-plus points. She totaled 22 points, 14 rebounds, three steals and two assists. Cooper converted 9-of-22 field goal attempts, 1-of-8 three-point attempts and 3-of-6 free throw attempts.

Lady Vols basketball couldn't slow down NC State and wasn't consistent offensively in an 80-77 season-opening loss Nov. 4.
