The Willoughby Police Department responded to a reported shooting Saturday evening.

Police responded to a shooting near the intersection of 10th Avenue and High Street. A man in his 50s was shot and is expected to survive.

The Akron Police Department is investigating the fatal shooting of a 28-year-old man. According to police, officers responded to the 500 block of Nash Street just after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. When they arrived, they found that the 28-year-old man had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A man was shot and robbed Thursday afternoon in a North Canton neighborhood. Officers responded to the 300 block of Rose Lane St. SE just after 4 p.m. after a resident called to report hearing a “popping sound” and seeing a vehicle that had traveled into a neighboring front yard.

The victim was found shot in the leg at The SkyLight Inn & Suites and taken to the hospital.

The Akron Police Department is investigating the shooting death of a 33-year-old man on Tuesday night. According to the Summit County Medical Examiner's Office, Akron Police and EMS responded to a residence in the 800 block of Whitepine Drive just after 8 p.m. for a person who had been shot.

A man and woman are dead after investigators in Moore County say they were shot inside a home in Vass, and another man is in custody in Ohio--400 miles away. Investigators are not sharing the names of either person who was killed because they are still trying to reach family members.
