The U.S. House may vote on the SAVE America Act this week, which requires proof of citizenship and photo ID to vote in federal elections.

Stiehler, who represents Loud Light Civic Action, dismissed the legislation as “fact-lacking kind of nonsense” that impedes voting freedoms. Opponents of the bill testified that voter fraud is exceedingly rare and questioned why the legislature is pouring government resources into voter identification laws.
