The People’s Republic of China officially cut the ribbon Wednesday on the newest and most advanced aircraft carrier to enter their navy’s service, according to state media. The Fujian was commissioned into service at a ceremony and display of military power held at a military port on the island of Hainan in South China,

The clips, aired by state media, show a delta-wing ASN-301 rocketing forth from a truck launcher and climbing sharply before diving into its target.

The lunar lander is called "Lanyue" (Embracing the Moon) and it "marks the first time that China has carried out a test for extraterrestrial landing and takeoff of a manned spacecraft,” according to China Manned Space Agency (CMSA).
