In the aftermath of the Korean War in 1954, Armistice Day officially became known as Veterans Day to recognize all of our nation’s veterans.
An open house on December 7 at the Quincy Senior Center, 639 York Street, from 2:30-4:30 p.m will allow friends and folks in the community to join in on the celebration.
