Disney CEO Bob Iger hasn’t left the building yet, and on Monday’s earnings call he said didn’t want to get too “nostalgic” about his two-decade run at the company. The Disney board is expected to select Iger’s successor by midweek.
Disney has picked a successor for longtime CEO Bob Iger. On Tuesday, the entertainment giant announced that its theme parks head, Josh D’Amaro, will take over as CEO on March 18th, 2026.
The soon-to-depart Bob Iger avoided getting too “nostalgic” during today’s Disney Q1 results call but he did have some words of wisdom for his probable successor, who is reported this morning to be parks boss Josh D’Amaro.
