A woman from Boston has died, and her husband is badly injured after police say they were attacked by their dog.

A woman was killed and 3 others, including 2 police officers, were injured in a Boston-area dog attack. The dog is also dead.

Boston 25 News has learned that the attack happened at a multi-family home owned by civil rights leader Jean McGuire.

One person was killed and three others were hurt in a horrific dog attack Monday in Boston. Two of those wounded were police officers.

A dog viciously attacked two people inside a Roxbury home Monday afternoon, leaving a woman with life-threatening injuries, according to Boston police. A man suffered “very serious injuries,” Deputy Police Superintendent Paul McLaughlin told reporters at the scene.

A dog attack left one Roxbury woman dead, another resident of the home severely injured and two Boston Police officers who rendered the victims aid also injured. Police killed the animal at the scene.

The pit bull that killed a woman in a Roxbury dog attack, hurt her husband and injured two police officers has been put down, Boston Animal Control officials said Tuesday.
