Brandon Nimmo, who is now a member of the Rangers following a trade on Sunday, called his time with the Mets a “dream” and an “honor.”

The New York Mets made the first major move of the offseason on Sunday when they made a deal with the Texas Rangers, sending them outfielder Brandon Nimmo in exchange for second baseman Marcus Semien.

With 10 years and 1,066 games under his belt, Nimmo was the Mets' longest-tenured player before he was traded to the Rangers on Monday.
