A man accused of murdering another man and shooting a Chicago police officer in 2020 avoided trial after pleading guilty Friday.
A woman was shot in the arm while riding in a vehicle on Chicago's Near West Side early Saturday morning. According to police, the 32-year-old woman was in a vehicle driving in the 1400 block of South Morgan Street around 2:45 a.m. when shots were fired from someone inside a white SUV.
Shots were fired in a downtown Chicago office building on Thursday morning. The shooting occurred around 9:50 am on the 17th floor of a technology company's high-rise building on the 200 block of S.
