According to the Frisco Police Department, Kneeland died by suicide following a police chase in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman Marshawn Kneeland, a former Western Michigan standout in his second NFL season, has died.

“She helped me a lot in my younger years getting into football,” he said.
