Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Titans are hiring San Francisco 49ers assistant head coach Gus Bradley to join Robert Saleh's staff. Albert Breer of the MMQB also reported the news. Saleh told reporters after being hired that he plans to retain defensive play-calling duties.
The Cardinals shot their shot, though, according to SI.com's Albert Breer. The Cardinals offered Bradley more money than the Titans and the ability to call plays. Even still, Bradley chose the Titans. Per Breer, it was about Bradley's relationship with Saleh.
