The Disney-YouTube TV dispute is into its second weekend. It means that subscribers of YouTube TV will once again miss key ESPN programming – that includes College GameDay and other football

The disagreement causing the ESPN and ABC outage stems from the "carriage fee" that YouTube TV pays Disney to broadcast its channels. Disney has faced similar negotiating standoffs with other broadcasters in recent years, including a 2021 outage on YouTubeTV that was resolved in two days.

The answer is a predictably unsatisfying mix of "maybe a smidgen," "probably less than you think" and "it's complicated."
