This cow likely would've had this calf on her own but sometimes it's better to be safe than sorry. I doubt I'll even log this as a dystocia (difficult calving). After the calf is licked dry she'll get moved to warmer housing. I mention in the video how the cow would likely follow me if I move the calf before its licked clean, and while that's true, I've also seen plenty of moments when the cows still don't care even when we move a fresh wet calf away (in instances of extreme cold for example).
