We just got our first big rain of the year here in Tsavo — and orphaned bush babies Spencer and Junior couldn’t handle the excitement! They were endlessly intrigued by the umbrella and less enthusiastic about getting wet. — Spencer and Junior are the smallest members of our orphan herd. While we are best known for raising orphaned elephants and rhinos, we offer a family and a wild future to any creature in need. Black rhinos are one of the world’s most endangered species. Poaching wiped out 98% of their population across Africa — but in conservation-minded countries like Kenya, they are slowly coming back from the brink.
