One of the easiest ways I've found to paint snowy evergreens in watercolor is to take advantage of the powers of SALT and WATER. Hack #1: Spray your paper with water from a spray bottle. Hold the bottle away from the paper enough that tiny water droplets form on the surface. Once you start painting, the paint will flow into the droplets you touch, creating branch-like patterns.
